Hi, I’m Carina
The face behind the camera:
Wedding photographer in Germany and all over Europe.
A photographer with heart, a nature lover with wanderlust, and the firm conviction that genuine emotions in pictures say more than a thousand words. I love capturing people as they really are—unposed, right in the moment, with everything that goes with it.
When we work together, you should feel like you’re out and about with a good friend. No stiff posing, no artificial smiles – just genuine moments that will last.
I come from Günzburg – a place perfectly located between Munich, Stuttgart, and the Allgäu region. An ideal starting point for weddings throughout southern Germany and even Austria. But regardless of where your wedding takes place, my focus is always on capturing the true, unposed moments. It’s not about “smiling for the camera,” but about telling your story in real, emotional pictures.

Why do I take photographs?
Because I love bringing stories to life. Not the perfectly staged ones, but the real ones. The little glances, the quiet laughter, the moments you don’t plan—that’s where the magic lies for me.
My camera is my tool for making real emotions visible—not just what you see, but what you feel. I want to create memories that touch you. Images that, even years later, still make you feel what that one day felt like.
My journey to becoming a photographer
Training as a graphic designer
Creativity has always been my thing—and by training as a graphic designer, I acquired the necessary tools of the trade. Here, I not only learned how to think visually, but also how to convey emotions through images, colors, and shapes.

The first camera rolls in.
What began as a creative outlet quickly became more. Through my hobby of horse riding and my deep connection to nature, I initially photographed mainly animals—quiet, powerful, unposed. I always had my camera with me on my travels anyway.
It was only later that I started photographing people. At first cautiously, then with growing enthusiasm. And at some point it became clear: this is it. I love capturing real emotions, making stories visible—and showing people how beautiful they are when they are simply themselves.

My first wedding—and absolutely no idea
I’ll be honest: I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I had never been to a wedding before, didn’t know how they worked, and set off completely unprepared—with a camera, a single SD card (bought for 15 euros at the drugstore), and no spare battery.
But what I did have was curiosity, intuition, and a big dose of heart palpitations. I just went for it—with a lot of gut feeling and an open eye for genuine moments. And although I shake my head with a smile when I think back on it today, everything went well.
That day was the starting point. And the moment I realized: I want to experience this again. And this time, I’ll be properly prepared.

The next step – my business
It was only a few years after my first wedding that I decided to officially register my business. Until then, photography had been a passionate hobby—one that had taken up more and more of my time.
Over the years, I received more requests, gained more confidence in my abilities, and felt that I wanted to do this seriously. So I started my side business as a photographer—without a business plan, but with a lot of heart, drive, and the desire to build something of my own.

Going all in – my journey into self-employment
It quickly became clear that this was more than just a side job. Photography had captured my heart, and I no longer wanted to be torn between appointments and calendar gaps.
So I gathered my courage and decided to devote myself entirely to the business I loved. It was a big step—but one that felt exactly right. Today I know it was the best decision I ever made. I get to be creative, work freely, and touch people with what I love.
